Initially Pakistan used Indian notes with “Pakistan “stamp on
. Later on,
new banknotes were issued in 1948….

1 Rupee Note (1947-48) featuring King George VI
With the signature of C. E. Jones Secretary of Finance Department (India)

2 Rupee Note (1947)
With the signature of C. D. Deshmukh Governor (Reserve Bank of India)

5 Rupee Note (1947)
With the signature of C. D. Deshmukh Governor (Reserve Bank of India)

10 Rupee Note (1947)
With the signature of C. D. Deshmukh Governor (Reserve Bank of India)

100 Rupee Note (1947-48)
With the signature of C. D. Deshmukh Governor (Reserve Bank of India)

Pakistan Government issued Rs.1 & 5 Note…..
Remember this note wasn’t issued by State Bank of Pakistan

State Bank of Pakistan Issues Banknotes of Rs..5--10--and--100



 



1957
Rs.5--10--and--100 notes were redesigned and reprinted and added Rs.50 note




1964
Rs.500 notes were added

1975
All the notes were redesigned except Rs.500 note and reprinted.
Rs.1 note was a bit changed by government of pakistan







1977
Rs.1 note once again redesigned by government of pakistan


1986
State bank of pakistan reintroduced Rs.2 note ----
Rs.500 note changed and Rs.1000 note was issued this year



1997
State bank of pakistan issued a special note on 50th
Independence day of pakistan

2005---2006
In 2005,Rs.20 note introduced...while in 2006 all previous currency
note were redesigned once again... Rs.5000 note was introduced in 2006






2008
New Rs.5 and Rs.50 notes were issued
Rs.20 note was once again redesigned
